Our workshops have included information sessions about further study, panels where inspirational rural people can answer questions about their journey, leadership or student voice workshops held in schools, presentations where rural people go back to the community they grew up in to share their story.
These workshops can take place in person, online or sometimes both.
An example of this is a workshop we ran with Canowindra High School. The Rural Inspire team worked with NSW Rural Youth Ambassadors to facilitate a workshop with Canowindra students which worked to explore their aspirations, build a strong student voice, and identify creative ideas to improve education in their community. And we’re about to work with Mount Gambia High School to run a similar program.
